House Hunting
Saturday, June 21st, 2008    Subscribe To Our FeedGood old house hunting! This can be one heck of a process. It’s difficult to find the location and home of your dreams. Or should I say, your affordable/realistic dreams. Unfortunately most of us don’t acquire the literal house of our dreams. But, we can search hard and find the next best thing. The question is where do we begin the search? Do you have a state or city in mind? Are you completely attached to your home town and have no intentions whatsoever of leaving it? If that’s the case, then you’re way ahead of most of us. Once you’ve narrowed it down to a specific location, then the fun and exciting house hunting begins. You get to browse through every home on the current market that suits you and your family’s needs. For the rest of us however, the ones who don’t know what permanent location we’re searching for; well we’ve got some work to do. Let me start it off by suggesting Mass real estate.
Massachusetts is a beautiful state. If you’ve still never been up there, then I highly suggest a visit. Even if it’s just to Boston or Salem. These are two cities that caught my attention. Boston is outstanding when it comes to cities. Not only does it have all the amenities you can dream of, but is sits on a picturesque water front. You won’t get tired of this! Especially if you love fresh seafood. However, Mass real estate is not cheap. This goes triple for those searching for a home in Boston. I was up there last year, and most homes I looked at for my family were close to 500 grand. And we’re just a middle class family of four. That’s a bit more than I cared to shell out, even for my dream home. Then there is Salem, Massachusetts. Yeah, you don’t have to say it. We all know that this is the “witch” area. Or so it was over 300 years ago. 20 individuals died here during the Salem witch trials. Believe it or not, this is a common attraction that has made this particular Mass real estate rather pricey. Then again, it’s not as high as the Boston area.
Maybe your ideal location and home can be found amongst the Mass real estate. It’s definitely worth making a trip and finding out. Even if this state is not the one you wish to spend the rest of your days in, it’s still an awesome place to visit. Have a blast seeing the sites.
