Canada Hills Residents Enjoy Easy Access to Great Hikes

Just off of Oracle Road, turn east onto Linda Vista Drive and you’ll find the Linda Vista Trailhead. This is a short 2 hour hike which is almost all hiking. It is an equestrian trail as well. This hike provides lots of great views as the trails winds up. A smaller trail off to the right will take you to the peak with a great view of the city, if you are ready for a steep climb.

Starting from the same place is another great hike. The climb to Pusch Peak requires a little more strength and agility. Be sure to wear long pants to protect your legs from cactus needles. It is a steep climb, the average grade is 34%, totaling 2700 ft. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended. The view from the top is worth the work to get there.
